Grounds for Health has been working to provide poor women in coffee growing communities
in Latin America and Africa for 26 years.
Grounds for Health has established Screen and Test programs for cervical cancer.
Cervical cancer will claim 6 million lives in the next 15 years and it is entirely preventable!
85% of these deaths are in low and middle income countries.
They plan on screening thousands of women. Treating them are local clinics with whom
Grounds for Health has established WHO standards. They have a training program for
community healthcare providers and promoters. Education is the first step to treatment and
training.
IN 2024, THE FOCUS FOR GROUNDS FOR HEALTH WILL BE Cancer and
HPV screening in Ethiopia. The need there is great but the resources are few. There will be
countless screens done by the locally trained healthcare professionals and cures will be
accomplished among this underserved community.
