Eileen and Callie’s is a transitional program for young women of color who are transitioning from foster care into independent living. They “age out” at age 18.

Most of these young women have not been taught basic skills for independent living like cooking, laundry, banking, money management, securing employment, and finding housing.

Overnight, these girls are expected to proceed on their own into a very harsh world.
